A Moment of Stillness

This week I am focusing on a moment of stillness.

I was going to make an attempt to write something to the usual magnitude of a Brazen blog post, but I just don’t have it in me.

I have been shooting non-stop and for that I am grateful, but it has also made me super tired.

So instead of being super focused on the blog these last two weeks I actually took a step back to just re-engage with my myself, my family, and my friends.

Though at first I was a little disappointed in myself, I also realized there is a lesson to be found there. For me, that was to just embrace the fact that I wanted and needed a break.

I have taken so much time to fall in love with myself, uplift those around me, and honestly I feel the best I have felt in a very long time.

Thus, why add any extra stress and force content when the best thing I can say right now is to just fall in love with your life

Love where you are, embrace anything that has disabled your productivity these last few weeks, and do something fun and think about nothing else.

So much of life is dedicated to giving most of your time and energy to that which you are passionate about and those you love.

But, it is first most important to prioritize when you just need space and time to step away, even in total chaos.

So with that, here are some amazing photos I did with some amazing students who attend Booker T. Washington High School (a preforming arts high school) who have inspired me to just have a little bit more fun and not to take myself so seriously.

Enjoy, and see you again in 2 weeks!
